"You're No Good" from Dirt Road Highway

We're thrilled with the initial response to our  new CD, and are looking forward to a summer of sharing our music with new  and old friends alike. We've been happy to discover an appreciation for our music in Europe with online sales in various countries. The first online review is also courtesy of a European Americana music site. It's an honor to find  ourselves sharing a small piece of cyber-space in the Netherlands with the likes of the Drive-By Truckers.

Probably an episode from a western series: Rawhide, The Rifleman, or maybe  Lassie. Good music is not only made by singer-songwriters, rugged  and morbid punk rockers. It is certainly the domain of Grand Canyon Rescue Episode from Texas. The debut "Dirt Road  Highway  includes ten strong songs in the tradition of artists like Bill Monroe, Earl Scruggs, Drive-By Truckers and Steve Earle. It is a great album with great melodies. The songs are cleverly put  together with beautiful harmonies. The many upbeatsongs be borne by the banjo, mandolin, upright bass and acoustic guitar. Lively music is surely destined to live to enjoy in a small room. Music served al  dente ranging from Americana and roots rock to alternative country and bluegrass. Harmonic and melodic. On "Dirt  Road Highway, we hear a solid chunk of energy in songs like Gabriel's Horn and Railroad Song. The spirit of Gram Parsons haunts the beautiful ballad Christmastime.
